Week 12 response

I plan on using paragraph structure. Basic writing principals having different ideas per paragraph will format it. I will even put basic questions that I use for interviewing into paragraph from because I think it is strong reading it in a sequence like that. I have been using this style ever sense I began writing papers. It is the first and most widely used style in my own opinion. I wasn’t a fan of the research proposal style at all so I am going to be very basic with what I am doing because I think it communicates information very well. I think this is the best for what I want to do because people are so used to it because it is so highly used that there wont be any confusion when people try to read and interpret my paper. I think I will always use this style even after college is over because I am so used to it and I am comfortable using it. Even if I have to write very few papers after college my style will be of paragraph form.

Questions about final paper

How do I organize my paper?
How does the thesis fit in?
How many pictures can I have?
Where does the bulk of the information for this paper come from?

Week 11 response

The hardest thing has honestly been finding enough time to do research on my subculture. With having the rest of my classes and architecture, time has been really limited but I have found time. It was also very frustrating not really knowing what the subculture actually did but attending the meetings anyways. The easiest thing is interacting with the people inside my subculture. They are very relaxed and understanding of everything I have to say. If I could start over, I would go to more of the movie nights the group offered Tuesday nights just to see the practical problems they propose to people on campus. The movies were shown to provoke thought among people in general. The movies were open to everybody on campus. It has showed my progression as a researcher and helped me developed good tips and ideas about how to get what I want from this program. My final paper will show my experience as a researcher and also be able to show the knowledge I have acquired..

Box 30

I found two articles in E-archives and Exhibits. The article in E-archives gives general information about the architecture program hear at ball state. It goes into depth about the many possible majors and minors through architecture. The other article in exhibits is about the celebration of African American history in Muncie. These two articles can help my research by giving me more information about my major and possible minors and how it could relate to African American history hear. There could be an intersection between the history of African American history and the prestige of Ball States architecture program.

Week 10 Reflection

The reason why people don't know the words in my club is because they are outsiders. They don't spend anytime with any of the people within the club to know what anything mean.
