Week 11 response
The hardest thing has honestly been finding enough time to do research on my subculture. With having the rest of my classes and architecture, time has been really limited but I have found time. It was also very frustrating not really knowing what the subculture actually did but attending the meetings anyways. The easiest thing is interacting with the people inside my subculture. They are very relaxed and understanding of everything I have to say. If I could start over, I would go to more of the movie nights the group offered Tuesday nights just to see the practical problems they propose to people on campus. The movies were shown to provoke thought among people in general. The movies were open to everybody on campus. It has showed my progression as a researcher and helped me developed good tips and ideas about how to get what I want from this program. My final paper will show my experience as a researcher and also be able to show the knowledge I have acquired..

I feel ya on time issue, it is hard to manage all the other school work then put time in for the project. Hopefully you have gone to some of the movie nights and can include this in your final paper. You sound like you have some good information, and you will be able to put together a good final paper.
Oh I totally understand how you feel about finding time to do research and stuff. Because I kept missing Body Mod meetings because I was working on a project when they were having meetings. It must have been a little more convenient to work with NOMAS since they are in CAP. But I can see how it would be hard because the group meets a lot. I am sure that NOMAS is a really interesting group so I’m sure your paper will reflect that.
