Landscape Architecture:
Landscape architecture is an art of seeing and applying ideas for human use in outdoor spaces. Landscape architects act as stewards of nature. They have to help maintain the land while helping to advance human needs. Landscape architects have to know about many different aspects of nature from how certain plants help to absorb water during flooding to what types of wood are best used for building. Landscape Architects deal with paying and non-paying clients in their profession. Paying clients are people who want work done. Non-paying clients are nature, users of spaces created and future generations. They spend many hours of the day sketching, thinking of ideas, and creating colorful and beautiful spaces.
